About Me

Experience

Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Splunk.

I developed and designed this web application using Azure's Cloud services and Docker. I created and stored SSL certificates in Azure's Key Vault, and bound them to secure the web application. Then I protected it by utilizing Azure's Security features and Security Center.

I conducted a penetration test against a mock organization following the PTES methodology and MITRE framework. I found and exploited vulnerabilities on the organization's web application and Linux and Windows hosts. Finally, I summarized my findings and recommended mitigations in a penetration testing summary report.

I was responsible for monitoring VSI's systems, specifically: An Apache web server hosting the administrative webpage and a Windows operating system running the company's backend operations.
I received logs from both servers to help develop monitoring solutions, create baselines, and set up alerts and dashboards.
The company then experienced a series of cyberattacks that took down several systems. This gave me new logs from the attack period, covering the Windows and Apache servers.
My task was to analyze these attack logs to assess the effectiveness of the monitoring solutions I chose.

I have also created and presented a research project where I focused on the security vulnerabilities of automobile CAN BUS systems.
I conducted an in-depth analysis of how attackers exploit these systems to gain unauthorized access.
This included identifying methods used to breach the CAN BUS, analyzing signal patterns, and understanding the nuances of header and packet information.
Furthermore, I showcased how to create interfaces that control the CAN BUS via computers or mobile devices.
This project not only honed my technical skills but also enhanced my ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts effectively.

I am confident that my experience in identifying and mitigating security threats, combined with my proactive approach to problem-solving, would be a true asset to a cybersecurity team. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a company and further my skills to align my knowledge with your needs.
Thank you for considering my application.
I look forward to the possibility of discussing my application in more detail.

Sincerely,
Anthony Lobelo
